Overview
A line in Digital Surveyor is viewed as any continuous polyline made up of two or more vertices. Lines that can be drafted via our automation have unique coloring or patterns assigned to them, while most non automation supported line layers will be represented in yellow.
To place a new line users must have an line feature layer active. They can then use the Hotkey L or select the Line icon in the Bottom Toolbar Menu.
A user can then left-click anywhere to place each vertex of the line on the point cloud. To finish drawing the line the, the user can either double click when placing the last vertex or press the Enter key. Alternatively, clicking back near the first vertex will close the line on itself.
