Overview
Line suggestions put the power of Digital Surveyor’s automation into the hands of the user. As a user works to draw a line that is considered an automated feature, Digital Surveyor will preview ahead a set amount of vertices of the line. The user can choose to press TAB and accept the line preview, click a vertex to partial accept or continue drawing the line in manually for that area.
This allows for a strong workflow where users can have control to add additional vertices and detail on a line, while still utilizing Digital Surveyor’s automation to speed through less critical areas.
Settings
Line suggestions can be turned on via the multi star icon at the bottom of the right menu panel.
Long pressing on the button will bring up the settings menu for the tool. Users can choose to allow suggestions for any feature type or only the active one. There are also settings to control how far ahead the suggestion preview will show.
