Setting Up Field to Finish Export

The Field to Finish CSV gives users a single concise point file export for all layer objects and line vertices. It allows flexibility in the export so customers can incorporate feature coding for any automated linework they may have setup in their CAD templates. Layer objects can also be exported with their attribute fields.

Everything will be exported either in Point, Northing, Easting, Elevation, Description or Point, X, Y, Z, Description

Most exports out of Digital Surveyor will honor the Feature Layer naming for any naming requirements. This can be overridden for Field to Finish via the Field-to-finish Export Description for each feature in the Feature Attribute Template.

In the normal export menu, Field to Finish CSV is listed. Selecting it will bring up the settings menu for how the exported CSV will be set up.

Next to every entry field sits the info icon link. Hovering over it will explain what that field is for.

At the bottom, is an export preview to ensure the output CSV is correct before pressing the Export button.
