Trajectory View

How to bring up imagery from trajectory

Overview

Digital Surveyor allows users to seamlessly work using both point cloud data and any collected imagery. One such example is the ability to interact with the imagery via the trajectory path. While showing any user the collection path, it also can pull up imagery at any location that a user clicks.

Opening Up a Trajectory

First, a user must have the trajectory shown on their dataset. This can be toggled on or off in the Display Settings or via Hotkey Shift + T

The trajectory line will appear in blue. When a user hovers their mouse over the trajectory, a white cube will appear in any location that there are images. A user can click here to pull up the Trajectory View.

The Trajectory View will appear on the left side of the data screen. This panel will show each camera at that location, options to overlay imagery on the point cloud and controls to move along the trajectory. Selecting an image will jump the display view to bring up that image.
