Linear Extraction Tool

The Linear Extraction Tool is one of Digital Surveyor’s semiautomated extraction tools. It can be utilized to extract any currently non-automated lines, extend lines, improve or intelligently resample them.

Using a baseline, the tool opens a cross section where a user places a vertex at any well defined and visible area for the tool to continue to extract out along the baseline. There is no limit to the number of vertices or types of lines the tool can run at one time.
